NHL Pittsburgh Penguins' star Sidney Crosby

Sidney Crosby - Does this name ring a bell? For those who follow the NHL league, this name would be synonymous to Sachin Tendulkar of cricket.
Sidney Crosby is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Crosby captains the Pittsburgh Penguins' team of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Sidney Crosby was drafted first overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins team in the year 2005 and has been playing with them ever since. He became the younges

By his second season, Sidney Crosby led the NHL with 120 points (36 goals, 84 assists) and captured the Art Ross Trophy, becoming the youngest player and the only teenager to win a scoring title in any major North American sports league.

Sidney Crosby became the captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins team during the 2007-08 NHL season and led them to the Stanley Cup finals which they eventually lost. But, the following year 2008-09 season, Sidney Crosby led the Pittsburgh Penguins team to their third Stanley Cup victory in the year 2009.

Michelle Jenneke in Sports Illustrated magazine

Remember Michelle Jenneke, the Australian athlete? She became famous courtesy of a youtube video going viral....  The viral video had Michelle Jenneke doing her usual dancing warm-up routine before her hurdles race last year at the IAAF World Junior Championship.

Now, Sports Illustrated has featured her in their February 2013 issue with three other sports women. The other athletes featured are Hawaiian surfer Alana Blanchard and Dutch hockey stars Ellen Hoog and Eva de Goede. Michelle Jenneke has certainly used her fame to good use by featuring in the Sports Illustrated photo shoot.

Maria Sharapova recently shot for Harper's Bazaar magazine's August 2012 issue. She looked stunning which is not surprising :)

Being a big fan of Sharapova, judging from the number of post of Sharapova in this blog :D,  couldn't stop myself from posting some of the stunning pictures of Maria Sharapova during Harper's Bazaar photo shoot...

Sharapova mentioned in her facebook account, "This was such a fun shoot. I felt like I was part of a different era with the clothes, short hair, black and white images.I had my amazing and extremely comedic ( is that even a word!?) glam team there which makes these shoots an incredible artistic collaboration. And the best part was that it was during my birthday weekend in Santa Barbara. We had a fun tapas dinner at a place which I now forgot the name of (that's because it feels ages ago!) and I finally got to see one of my favorite artists in concert...Florence and the Machine."
